Nimesulide is a drug used for the management of pain and to treat fever. It is commonly prescribed to acute pain, pain related to menstrual cramps, backache, post-operative pains, osteoarthritis and fever. This drug belongs to the class of NSAID (Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).This medication functions by blocking the cyclooxygenases which actually produces pain signals in our body.
