Gentamycin Injection (FOR HUMAN AND VET)

Gentamycin injection is an aminoglycoside antibiotic indicated for the treatment of a variety of bacterial infections. It is a normally used as a sulphate salt.

Effective against Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.
Used to treat infections such as septicemia, respiratory tract infections, and urinary tract infections.
Requires careful monitoring for potential nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.

In veterinary medicine gentamycin is used mainly as a solution for injection for pigs, cattle and horses and as an oral solution for poultry.

Each ml contains:
Gentamycin Sulphate eq. to Gentamycin IP - 40mg
Methylparaben IP - 1.8mg
Propylparaben (as preservative) IP - 0.2mg
