Povidone Iodine Ointment USP - Topical antiseptic ointment for preventing and treating bacterial and fungal skin infections.

• Contains povidone iodine, which exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, and some viruses.
• Used for disinfecting wounds, burns, and skin abrasions to prevent infection.

Composition:
Calamine I.P (8 % W/V)
- Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride I.P (1.0 % W/V)
- Ethanol (95%) I.P (2.37 % V/V)
- Expressed as absolute ethanol I.P (2.256 % V/V)
- In Camphorated Aqueous Base (-)

Used to treat or prevent skin infection in minor cuts, scrapes, or burns.
