Povidone Iodine IP 10% w/v

Skin Preparation Solution

Apply undiluted, as often as required, as a paint or wet soak. Works best with a contact time of 3 to 5 mins. Repaint skin every 20 to 30 mins during surgery.

Povidone Iodine IP 10% Antiseptic Solution has a rapid & prolonged germicidal action against a wide spectrum of pathogenic organisms including both gram-positive &
gram-negative Bacteria, Fungi, Protozoa, Viruses & bacterial spores. In the presence of blood, serum, purulent exudate or necrotic tissue, its activity persists as long as the colour remains. The golden brown colour serves to highlight the disinfected areas.
